Spire Wellesley Hospital in Southend, Essex, has installed an Acuson S2000 diagnostic ultrasound system from Siemens Healthcare for its refurbished ultrasound suite.  The S2000 will be used for gynaecology, urology, musculoskeletal and breast clinic patients.

To complement the S2000 unit, five transducers have been delivered to expand the range of clinical examinations available.  The clinic now has a variety of probes including a 4C1, 8V3, 14L5 and a 9L4.

The Multi-D matrix 9L4 transducer is the latest.  It helps obtain detailed images across a range of clinical applications with high frequency imaging resolution.
