A refit for West London

MIS managing director Patrick Sykes with the Mayor of Harrow, Councillor John Nickolay, North West London Hospitals NHS Trust chief executive Fiona Wise, MIS national sales manager Steve Henman, radiology clinical director Michele Marshall and the Mayor of Brent, Councillor Ralph Fox.

The mayors of Brent and Harrow officially opened a refurbished radiology department at Northwick Park and St Mark’s Hospitals.

The two fluoroscopy suites supplied by Medical Imaging Systems include a Shimadzu SonialVision Safire Direct digital universal table system and a Fluorospeed 300 Under-couch unit. The SonialVision is the first of its kind to be installed in Europe and offers new features such as real-time imaging, Tomosynthesis, Slot radiography, dual energy imaging and low dose modes.

The SonialVision table, with the flat panel technology, can be lowered to the lowest level on the market, making it ideal for the elderly, paediatrics and the infirm.
