A Hitachi Arietta V60 ultrasound unit has been selected as system of choice for the upgrade pathway in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary’s urology department. It was chosen for its wide range of transducers, in particular the through-crystal’ C25P probe for percutaneous nephrolithotomies that helps to streamline the procedure and improve safety and accuracy.
CNS uro-oncology Kevin Wardlaw said: “The robust build quality combined with a user-friendly layout made the Arietta V60 the favoured ultrasound system.”
