Canon Medical Systems account manager Colin Murray, radiology service manager Pam Black, Canon Medical Systems district sales manager, north and Scotland, Linda Horsfall, CT principal radiographer Karl Taylor (in the scanner), clinical service lead for radiology Yvonne Jones, CT/ultrasound manager Gail Green, consultant radiologist Dr Dan Earnshaw and CT radiographer Jennie Brady.

Arrowe Park Hospital, part of Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, has installed an Aquilion One Genesis Edition CT system from Canon Medical Systems.

CT/ultrasound manager Gail Green explained: “The scanner benefits from a flared gantry, which we find can alleviate worries in anxious patients. This improves patient experience while allowing staff better access to the patient.  The system is consistently performing exceptional quality scans at lower doses and with less contrast agent than we have been able to achieve before.  We chose Canon Medical Systems to deliver our new CT system as we have been impressed with the service in the past.”
