Banquet was on the menu for Oncentra users

Pictured are attendees at Nucletron’s successful two-day meeting for its Oncentra customers.  More than 40 users attended from hospitals across the UK and Ireland.

Delegates were welcomed by Nucletron UK md Mark Hitchman and Tony Millin, head of radiotherapy physics treatment planning at Velindre Hospital, Cardiff.

Speakers from Nucletron user sites presented and the programme covered new developments for Nucletron’s Oncentra product, ‘tips and tricks for commissioning the new enhanced algorithm’ and proton therapy.  Evening entertainment included a banquet at Cardiff Castle.

Tony Millin said: “As a site with some of the latest equipment from Nucletron we were very pleased to welcome the meeting to Cardiff.   I know the delegates found the exchange of views and information stimulating and useful.”

Feedback included positive comments on the interesting mix of topics.
