Doorset design from Raybloc reduces downtime
Raybloc (X-Ray Protection) has introduced its PVC encapsulated doorsets with rebated meeting stiles, a solution designed to significantly reduce downtime in controlled areas.
Traditional PVC encapsulated doorsets with astragal meeting stiles have been the bulwark of x-ray facilities for years. However, Raybloc points out that they have a drawback, which is the downtime required for maintenance and repairs due to the astragal’s wear and tear.
The new doorsets from Raybloc are engineered to eliminate these interruptions. The rebated meeting stile provides a seamless and more durable interlock between leaves and this design enhances the protective barrier against radiation and ensures an enduring seal. The result is reduced maintenance demands and an extended lifespan for the doorsets.
