E6 adds fetal heart imaging to obs/gynae service

At the handover of a GE Healthcare Voluson E6 ultrasound system to Sunderland Royal Hospital is GE Ultrasound sales specialist John Rimmer with advanced practitioners for ultrasound Janet Edge and Louise Goodrich.

 

Configured with advanced technology such as Volume Contrast Imaging, Volume Calculations and the capability for 3D and 4D imaging, the Voluson E6 also adds fetal heart imaging to complement the obstetric and gynaecological service at the hospital.

 

The service offers maternity and gynaecology wards, gynaecology outpatients and sexual health services including genitourinary medicine, contraceptive services and fertility.
