Encrypted CDs for Airedale

Airedale NHS Trust at Steeton, North Yorkshire, has installed the latest version of Dicom CD production equipment from Rothband. It allows the radiology department to produce password protected, encrypted and custom printed Dicom CDs in a simple one-step operation.

The trust has recently installed a new PACS system and is now able to produce secure Dicom CDs easily and quickly, fulfilling information governance regulations and requirements for data transfer.

The cost-effective solution from Rothband means that patient studies can be selected for CD production and within minutes a secure, printed Dicom CD or DVD is produced complete with a user-friendly viewer.
