North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, the newest acute hospital trust in England, has gone live with Agfa HealthCare’s Enterprise Imaging for its merged Peterborough City, Hinchingbrooke, and  Stamford and Rutland Hospitals.  The initial go-live at Peterborough City Hospital and Stamford and Rutland Hospital took place in February 2018 with Hinchingbrooke Hospital to follow in 2019.

“We were impressed by how the Enterprise Imaging platform provides a wide range of benefits,” said consultant radiologist associate divisional director – diagnostic imaging Tamer Sadek.  “Within the hospital Enterprise Imaging offers enhanced clinical workflows and post-processing whilse integrating with our third party RIS and other systems.  Beyond the hospital walls, home reporting will be enabled, reflecting the realities of today’s healthcare.  Finally, it is scalable to our needs, and we can extend it to other image-producing departments in the future.”
