First of five for fetal health departments

News

At Kettering General Hospital are Olympus application specialist Eileen Bradley with advanced practitioners Lindsey Gulliver, Andrea Moore and Claire York.

An Aloka ProSound Alpha 7 installed at Kettering General Hospital is the first of five for the maternity ultrasound and fetal health departments.  Olympus application specialist Eileen Bradley said: “During the department’s evaluations one of the highlights was the performance of the Directional eFlow function, a Colour Flow Mapping technology unique to Aloka.

“This feature offers enhanced performance for most Doppler studies but is especially valuable when imaging subtle structures such as the MCA or the outflow tracts of the fetal heart, where the flow remains confined within the vessel.”
