The Victoria Infirmary in Glasgow has installed an XPlus LP compact, universal general radiography system incorporating Canon’s flat panel, single tile CXDI-40EC 43x43cm dDR detector.  The system was installed by Xograph Healthcare.

The XPlus LP is a versatile, floor-mounted, motorised universal-type dDR system enabling examination of all body regions while occupying a very small foot-print. No structural ceiling works are necessary which keeps installation costs to a minimum.  A mobile elevating, floating top patient table is also available with the system.

Superintendent radiographer Murray Crichton said “This was our first experience with dDR using the Canon flat panel detector. We find it extremely easy to use, fulfilling all of our clinical requirements.  This has been complimented by the excellent support and service that we have received from Xograph Healthcare.”
