Fujifilm’s Shurmer takes up role of AXREM vice chair

Strategic and government relationship manager at Fujifilm Healthcare UK Huw Shurmer has become AXREM vice chair. He brings nearly 30 years of broad medical imaging experience to the role and has hands-on industry experience that will enable him to represent AXREM, its members and the medical imaging industry. Shurmer wants to see membership grow, allowing AXREM to gain a wider representation and be seen as the main voice for the medical devices and imaging industry. “I believe the vice chair needs to have good understanding of all the areas that AXREM represents, and I will support the ceo and chair by continuing to engage with our key opinion leaders,” Shurmer commented.
