Holly House upgrades

Pictured at a follow-up visit by Vertec Scientific’s Bill Reid to Holly House Hospital, Buckhurst Hill, are, from left, diagnostic centre manager Allyson Budino, lead Dexa radiographer Jaswinder Aulakh and assistant practitioner Maria Weeden. Bill was on hand to check that the upgrade of the Hologic QDR 4500c Elite scanner to Apex 3.2 was satisfactory.

Part of Aspen Healthcare, Holly House is well-equipped with diagnostic imaging facilities, which include digital mammography, x-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI. Allyson Budino commented: “We are delighted to offer an upgraded Dexa scanning system to enhance the quality of service to our patients.”

Bill Reid added: “Many of our Hologic systems would benefit from an upgrade, extending their useful lives for many years.”
