New Cross Hospital, part of Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, has acquired two Toshiba Aplio 500 ultrasound machines for the women and children’s ultrasound department as replacement systems.
“We selected the Aplio 500 for its good resolution and excellent penetration for obstetrics, gynaecology and paediatric ultrasound,” explained clinical ultrasound manager Sue Burford. “It comes with a good software package for Graf hips technique measurements and we are well supported by the sales and applications team, with lots of availability for training days for part-time and full-time sonographers.”
