This is an exciting time for The School of Health and Social Care Professions which is further expanding its Allied Health Professions (AHP) portfolio. Current pre-registration programmes include paramedicine, physiotherapy, operating department practitioner, physicians associate and post-registration programmes including advanced clinical practice and non-medical prescribing. From September 2023, the School will welcome diagnostic radiography.
The school is delighted to invite applications for associate professor in diagnostic radiography (1.0FTE). The post-holder will be responsible for new pre-registration MSc Diagnostic Radiography. They will provide academic leadership of the programme and provide high quality management of modules, including level quality review, in line with the requirements of the university and external agencies such as the QAA and PSRBs. They will ensure effective communication across a team of academics to achieve high quality student outcomes, undertake effective communication with external examiners, other external colleagues with respect to quality and standards and develop and maintain productive external relationships for the advancement of teaching excellence and placement capacity.
