Peamount Healthcare is an independent voluntary organisation that provides a range of high quality health and social care services including rehabilitation, residential and community services. It is expanding its rehabilitation services to include an inpatient and ambulatory care rheumatology service.

Purpose of post:
The clinical specialist radiographer in Peamount Healthcare has a pivotal role in the coordination and management of radiography activities and resources within all Peamount Healthcare services. The clinical specialist radiographer will be responsible for the day-to-day service in general x-ray room and radiation safety. As clinical specialist radiographer, you will be delivering a quality, patient focused radiographic service.
Eligibility criteria qualifications and experience:
Candidates must on the latest date for receipt of applications:
Possess the diploma from the College of Radiographers
or
Possess a BSc in Radiography at level 8 (NQF)
or
Possess a qualification at least equivalent to or above as validated by the competent authority.
and
• Have not less than six years’ full-time post qualification clinical experience.
and
• Be registered on the Radiographer Register maintained by the Radiographer Registration Board at CORU or be in the process of registration with CORU. Details must be included in application (www.coru.ie).
• Have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Have a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative.
• Possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
