Description

We are seeking enthusiastic specialist clinical technologist/radiographers to join multi-disciplinary teams providing nuclear medicine services across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.

The successful candidates will participate in a range of specialist technical duties, providing direct patient care and ensuring a high-quality clinical service.

The nuclear medicine service operates across several sectors. These posts are based in the South, North-East and North-West sectors. Staff will be expected to work within a sector.

South Glasgow sector operates on the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, the Institute of Neurological Sciences, and the Victoria Hospital. Services on all sites include SPECT/CT scanning, non-imaging procedures and therapy. The competency level to be achieved is set out in the register of clinical technologists (RCT) scope of practice for nuclear medicine and would normally be demonstrated via a portfolio of evidence.

It is strongly encouraged that you make contact with the department, including a visit if it is appropriate to arrange this.
