Dick White Referrals
Develop your career with DWR and be part of something special!
The section of diagnostic imaging at Dick White Referrals (DWR), Veterinary Specialist Centre, Newmarket, Cambridgeshire, UK, is seeking to employ a full-time radiographer with a desire to work offering a high level of medical care to dogs and cats to cover a maternity leave starting from March 2022 for one year. We would also consider a part-time appointment of a minimum of three days a week.
The position offers a radiographer the opportunity for involvement in all types of diagnostic imaging of cats and dogs, a realistic caseload and a genuine involvement in each case and its outcome.
Team and facilities:
Our diagnostic imaging team consists of five board-certified radiologists, three fellows, three residents, two interns and five radiographers/assistants. The on-site imaging facilities include radiography (DR), fluoroscopy, two ultrasound suites, 0.4T MRI, and 16-slice MDCT. The last two are to be upgraded in the coming year by 1.5T MRI and 64-slice MDCT.
DWR is world renowned and one of Europe’s largest private veterinary hospitals, working at the forefront of veterinary medicine and surgery. It has an excellent and varied caseload supported by rotating interns, residents, certified veterinary nurses, and 53 veterinary specialists including the following specialties: anatomical pathology, anaesthesia, cardiology, clinical pathology, emergency and critical care, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, and soft tissue surgery.
You must be a radiographer with full HCPC registration.
