Role description

Pennard Vets is looking for a Veterinary radiographer to become a key player in our committed team. Requirements for the role

  • Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained in a safe and timely manner.
  • Upholding radiation safety measures and expected standards.
  • Full-time, based on 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Start ct service with initially low volume, with the exciting challenge of building and expanding the radiography department.
  • Equipment includes 32-Slice Siemens Somation CT scanner and digital radiography machine.
  • Grow and lead a team of skilled radiographers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Perform various radiographic duties, including standard x-rays and other imaging techniques, crucial in supporting our clinical team and enhancing patient care.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, contributing your expertise to the diagnosis and treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Qualified diagnostic radiographer with a degree or a comparable degree/qualification.
  • Must be HCPC registered.
  • Experienced in CT imaging and digital radiography.
