Latest Aquilion CX CT for Bristol

Toshiba project manager June Forrester with senior radiographers Jenny Barratt and Mamaoun Hayatla, CT superintendent radiographer James Bonner, CT lead radiographer Richard Stollery, Toshiba account manager Megan Newberry, managing director Matthew Stork, senior radiographer Ellen Brayshaw and Toshiba CT product specialist Neil Barker.
Southmead Hospital, part of North Bristol NHS Trust, has installed a Toshiba Aquilion CX 128-slice CT system.
Launched in 2009, the CX replaces an existing scanner and will assist in the development of new services, such as cardiac scanning.
The new scanner has cutting-edge cardiac functionality, including innovative software that provides the tools for efficient cardiac CT studies.
