A seminar at the University of Liverpool for professionals involved in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries was organised by the university’s School of Health Sciences and sponsored by Siemens Healthcare.
Dr Andy Dunn and sonographer Carol Atherton from the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust gave demonstrations using a Siemens Acuson Antares Premium Edition.
The Antares’ advanced SieClear technology combines contrast resolution and speckle reduction to deliver improved imaging of musculoskeletal injuries.
The system is available with a range of transducers, including the ergonomically designed VF13-5SP hockey stick’ probe for accessibility to musculoskeletal structures.
