Dr Philip Barclay using the SonoSite M-Turbo.

Liverpool Women’s Hospital uses the SonoSite M-Turbo point-of-care ultrasound system for guiding anaesthesia for a range of procedures in obstetrics and gynaecology.  Consultant obstetric anaesthetist Dr Philip Barclay said: “In obstetrics we principally use the M-Turbo to guide spinal epidural blocks for caesarean sections.
