Liverpool Women’s prefers M-Turbo

Liverpool Women’s Hospital uses the SonoSite M-Turbo point-of-care ultrasound system for guiding anaesthesia for a range of procedures in obstetrics and gynaecology.  Consultant obstetric anaesthetist Dr Philip Barclay said: “In obstetrics we principally use the M-Turbo to guide spinal epidural blocks for caesarean sections. It reduces the number of attempts required to site the blocks and increased accuracy helps us choose the right needle at the beginning of the procedure.”
