Migratek and Endex help with a smooth go-live

LAITEK’s Migratek and Enlitic’s Endex AI are designed to help smooth the PACS migration process. A smooth go-live means keeping control, avoiding chaos and delivering the results expected by the team, Enlitic says.
Downtime disrupts care as clinicians cannot access studies and patients wait longer for results. Problems can include data mapping errors, with images in the wrong patient record or disappearing. Users become frustrated with new workflows, missing features or broken connections.
“Most of these headaches come from messy data or clunky migration tools,” states Enlitic. “Imaging data is only as useful as its metadata. Too often, you inherit years of inconsistent labels, missing fields and typos. When you migrate that mess, you carry old problems into your new system. That means more troubleshooting, more downtime and more unhappy users.” Endex uses AI to standardise, normalise and cleanse imaging metadata before migration, providing consistent, clinically relevant labels and aligning data to a universal standard. It fills in missing fields, corrects typos and resolves inconsistencies.
Once data is clean, LAITEK’s Migratek handles the migration. Migratek uses AI to move data quickly, minimising downtime. With 99 per cent accuracy, it is said to provide reliable, validated data in the new system without missing studies or broken links. It also migrates data in the background, so clinical operations continue as usual.
