National PETCT Contract launched at special event

Alliance Medical was joined by senior members of NHS England and staff from The Christie NHS Foundation Trust to launch the National PETCT Contract secured earlier this year.  The event was focused on cementing the partnership with NHS England and external partners that will facilitate and provide training to the collaborative network throughout the contract.

The launch at the school of oncology was attended by 75 guests.

Guests heard speeches from senior figures from Alliance Medical and The Christie, including Alliance Medical Group chief executive Guy Blomfield and consultant radiologist and nuclear medicine physician Dr Prakash Manoharan, who explained their vision of how PETCT would be delivered across England under the new contract.
