The Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast has replaced one of its 1.5T MRI systems with a Philips Achieva – the first 3.0T system in Northern Ireland.

Philips Healthcare is just three years into a 15-year Managed Equipment Service agreement with the Royal Group of Hospitals, part of the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.

In addition to the new system, the Royal Victoria has a Philips 1.5T Achieva installed in 2007.
