Service support prompts Perth into a C-arm upgrade

At Perth are Gayle Godsman, Steve Taylor, Kay Lindsay, Susan Park and Douglas Mitchell.

Perth Royal Infirmary has recently taken delivery of its first Ziehm Vision Image Intensifier, supplied by Xograph Healthcare.  NHS Tayside has previously installed a number of Ziehm C-arms into Perth’s sister hospitals, Ninewells in Dundee and Stracathro in Angus.

Radiographers at Perth wanted a modern C-arm that would be easy to use, suitable for a broad range of surgical applications, provide exceptional image quality, good value for money, and, importantly, exhibit a proven track record of reliability.

Douglas Mitchell, radiography manager at Perth Royal Infirmary said, “The Ziehm Vision allows excellent manoeuvrability and easy handling to make positioning effortless in a busy operating room.  Having the ability to control the system at both the C-arm and the monitor cart has improved the way that we work in theatres.  During extensive procedures the Advanced Active Cooling System will support continuous imaging for long periods.”
