Spire Murrayfield Hospital that provides private healthcare facilities across the Wirral, intends to expand the services it offers with a Toshiba Vantage MR 1.5T system.

Clinical lead MRI Jeff Home said: “Patients are enjoying the benefits of the short and wide bore and we are now successfully scanning claustrophobic patients who have failed on previous attempted MRI scans.   In fact, patients who have had previous MRI scans comment about how quiet the scanner is even without ear protection.”
