Author: - Qure.ai
Excerpt: Various factors contribute to a misdiagnosis of lung cancer on chest radiographs and CT. Tumour characteristics such as lesion size, conspicuity and location are also crucial in this context. In a recent study conducted by Qure.ai, its qCT product flagged 23.7% of CTs, which were then re-read by an independent thoracic radiologist. In 19.4% of these flagged cases, the radiologist agreed that there were unreported actionable nodules.
