Delegates at vascular imaging study day.
Toshiba Medical Systems hosted a multi-modality vascular study day, entitled “Leading innovations in vascular imaging”, to provide an insight into the latest clinical developments in a rapidly developing field of diagnosis.
Held at the Wellcome Collection in London the programme covered CT, MRI and ultrasound imaging.
The meeting opened with a presentation from Mr Rakesh Puni on “Non-contrast vascular MRA technique”
This was followed by senior lecturer and consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon at Birmingham University and Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust Donald Adam speaking on “The role of CT and workstation assessment in endovascular aneurysm repair.” Consultant neuroradiologist at Morriston Hospital Dr Vijay Sawlani then spoke on “CT and MR Angiography techniques for evaluation of cranio-spinal vascular lesions.”
