IR scholarship winners see latest technology
Terumo account manager Tony Warrington and senior account manager Jackie Whitlow, University Hospital Southampton’s Dr Ben Maher and Royal Liverpool University Hospital’s Dr An Ngo.
Dr Ben Maher of University Hospital Southampton and Dr An Ngo of Royal Liverpool University Hospital visited the LINC conference in Leipzig, Germany, having been awarded attendance as winners of the 2016 BSIR/Terumo Interventional Scholarship.
The winning entries were ‘Bronchial artery embolisation for the management of thoracic endometriosis’ by Dr Maher and ‘Thinking outside the box to fill the hole: A novel treatment for a type 3b endoleak’ by Dr Ngo.
The two prizes are awarded by the BSIR and supported by Terumo, with winners notified at the annual BSIR meeting.
