Cirencester welcomes ‘great piece of kit’
Pictured during a follow-up visit to Cirencester Hospital are consultant orthopaedic and hand surgeon Mr Jeremy Field and Vertec Scientific product specialist Keith Lakin. The hospital has taken delivery of a Hologic Fluoroscan Insight FD x-ray C-arm supplied by Vertec for use in theatres.
The Fluoroscan can be legally and safely used by the members of the surgical team following suitable training from a Vertec applications specialist, making the system even more useful to surgeons.
Mr Field has been keen to use the Fluoroscan in his practice for a while and said: “This is a great piece of kit that saves huge amounts of time in theatre.”
