Staff at Calderdale Royal Hospital in Halifax have been enjoying the benefits of a recent DR upgrade with Fujifilm’s D-Evo II Retrofit room solution. The staff are really happy with the new equipment, said general radiology team lead Nicola Stephenson. We’ve been able to speed up workflow and it’s given the department a real buzz as we’re able to deliver a much better service. We have improved patient flow through both the main department and A&E, which is of paramount importance.
Image quality was key to our decision, continued Stephenson. At Calderdale we already had Fujifilm CR and the transition to DR was easy. We found the new D-Evo II detector and console very user friendly.
The installation engineers and applications specialists have been great and the staff training went really well. This solution has been good value for money for the trust.
