Radiographer on MR-linac programme scoops SCoR accolade

Radiographer of the year Dr Helen McNair.
Lead research radiographer Dr Helen McNair from The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust has been named UK Radiographer of the Year by the Society and College of Radiographers.
The nomination was made by colleagues and highlighted her personal journey as a radiographer and her commitment to the profession.
“It is both a privilege and humbling to represent radiographers in this way. It means so much to me that my research and MR-linac colleagues nominated me. The work we do as radiographers at The Royal Marsden is both exciting and challenging. The MR-linac project in particular has been fantastic to lead on as a therapeutic radiographer and is a brilliant opportunity to develop our skills,” she said.
