X-ray chair is improved with no price increase

Wardray Premise has improved its XRC100 x-ray chair while maintaining the 2018 price.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, the latest product improvement is a change from a hydraulic to a battery-operated electric lifting column. This removes the manual effort involved with adjusting the height of the chair seat. It comes with a handset/controller, a spare battery and a wall-mountable battery charger. Now, the height of the chair can be adjusted by a simple press of a button, moving the seat between 500mm and 800mm height.

The x-ray chair incorporates a slot under the seat to accommodate a 35cm x 35cm cassette and offers a clear, uninterrupted perspex back panel with no seams, giving good access to the seated patient.

For comfort the seat pad and removable backrest are made from memory foam, while the footrests are fully adjustable. The armrests can be removed from the chair to allow patient sideway transfer.

The chair is particularly beneficial for patients with scoliosis as they can be fully supported during the examination.
