Vertec and C-RAD strengthen UK support with new hires

Following several UK installations of the C-RAD Catalyst+ HD SGRT system, Vertec Scientific and C-RAD have increased support infrastructure for their UK customers.

Ross Lethbridge joins the C-RAD team as national sales manager for UK and Ireland, bringing a wealth of experience to boost sales support.

Vertec’s Jenni Cook has a long career as a therapeutic radiographer and is now a fully certified clinical applications specialist on C-RAD products. Her role in customer support has been well received by existing UK C-RAD customers and she has been instrumental in setting up the first UK C-RAD training day in Swansea this year.

In addition to sales and clinical support, Vertec has boosted its service and technical support offering, with four of its eight service engineers fully trained and certified by C-RAD. The remaining four are expected to be trained over the following months.

Vertec managing director Bill Hipgrave commented: “With these additions in staffing and the commitment to support, coupled with the very close bond between Vertec and C-RAD, our customers can be confident that their C-RAD SGRT system comes with clinical and technical support that is second to none.”

C-RAD vice president EMEA Kashif Ikram added: “SGRT is rapidly becoming a standard of care in radiotherapy across the world, and we continue to see increasing interest for C-RAD SGRT from the UK. We strongly believe in its ability to deliver safer and more efficient radiation treatment.”
