Leatherland joins HSL

Following the announcement of a £1.7 million investment in growing its footprint, including a new UK-based headquarters in the East Midlands, Hospital Services Limited (HSL) has appointed Steve Leatherland as regional director of operations in Great Britain.

Leatherland brings more than two decades of experience in the diagnostic imaging and healthcare sectors and a record of achievement in sales and business development, operations, customer service, and technical and supply chain management. His role will focus on the development of existing and new opportunities as HSL broadens its reach into trusts across the country and introduces new technology and manufacturers.

Leatherland said: “These are exciting times for HSL, with a growing portfolio, an expanding team and a working environment focused on creating a culture of customer centricity. With over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare service sector working with renowned companies like Philips Healthcare, Carestream and,
most recently, Fujifilm Medical Systems, I am looking forward to working with some of the best people and products in the market.”

Chief executive Dominic Walsh added: “We have already seen significant success in Britain. With leadership from our new regional director of operations Steve Leatherland we look forward to continued growth as we bring exclusive relationships and distributorships with brands including Shimadzu, NRT X-ray Systems, Dornier MedTech and Konica Minolta.”
