Champagne at the Gherkin

The clinical director of urgent care services at Mayday University Hospital, Croydon, Dr Tony Newman-Saunders with Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital consultant radiologist and DoH national clinical lead for diagnostic imaging Dr Erika Denton and Charlie McCaffrey, managing director of Carestream Health UK Limited.

 

A champagne reception and dinner was held to introduce the next generation Carestream RIS. The event was held at 30 St Mary Axe, the iconic building more often  known as ‘the Gherkin’, located at the heart of the City of London.

 

Thirty-eight key customers, including consultant radiologists, IT managers and radiology service managers were given a detailed presentation and live demonstrations of the new Carestream RIS with V11 software. They viewed the intuitive, user friendly interface of the new RIS, described as “a flexible, unified platform that automates radiology workflow and enhances productivity, even across large multi-site enterprises.”
