AB-CT installs its first breast CT scanner in South Korea

German medical technology company AB-CT (Advanced Breast-CT) has installed its first nu:view scanner in South Korea. The company says that, in contrast to conventional mammography, nu:view offers patients a non-compression and pain-free scan with short scan times.

Under the medical direction of Dr Choi Seon-Hyeong, The Queen’s U Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul, uses state-of-the-art imaging technology to detect tumours early and make accurate diagnoses.

“Last December, in collaboration with our partner Radconn, we met all technical and regulatory requirements so that we can now launch nu:view in South Korea,” explained chief innovation officer Felix Althoff. “We are delighted that this state-of-the-art facility has chosen our breast CT.”
