EOS imaging is attending UKIO this year for the first time. During the event EOS will host ‘EOS: the future gold standard for surgical and non-surgical musculoskeletal imaging’, with a guest speaker from St George’s University Hospital, London, one of its many current NHS installation sites. The session takes place on Wednesday, June 12, at 10:55 am – 11:55 am at the Innovation Hub.

EOSedge is a 2D/3D x-ray stereoradiography imaging device and software solution that bridges the gap between imaging and orthopaedic surgery, which the company says unlocks a new standard for patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

The system can provide high quality full body imaging at a very low dose, with truly calibrated measurements, all in a functional position within seconds. “It has advantages over traditional imaging in terms of patient care and the ability to make informed decisions on surgical and non-surgical treatments and patient care pathways,” EOS says.

With more than 500 systems now installed worldwide, the company says it is looking forward to discussing and demonstrating the impact it is having on patient care globally.

“You will find us at booth number A37, we look forward to seeing you.”
