The London Bridge Hospital, part of HCA International, has purchased another Ziehm mobile C-arm from Xograph Healthcare, exclusive distributors for the Ziehm portfolio in the UK and Ireland.

After a comprehensive review and evaluation process the hospital selected the Ziehm Vision FD Vario 3D, with direct digital flat panel detector and intra-operative 3D image reconstruction, to complement a conventional Ziehm Vision mobile C-arm image intensifier which was purchased a few months earlier.

Radiology manager at HCA London Bridge Hospital Joe Cornall said: “We were very impressed with the image quality and positive feedback received from the surgeons and wanted to enable 3D imaging in theatre.  Radiographers really liked the ergonomic design and ease of use.  Training staff was seamless as the new Ziehm system has the same footprint, hardware platform and intuitive software user interface as our existing Ziehm Vision.”
