CX50 for Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth

Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham has purchased a Philips CX50 portable ultrasound system.  

The hospital’s system is said to combine outstanding image quality with the convenience of portability.

Philips says it has integrated its innovative technologies into the CX50 to address the need for premium class performance in a compact system.  “Included are PureWave Crystal Technology to achieve excellent image quality even in technically challenging patients, SonoCT, Advanced XRES, Pulse Inversion THI and freehand 3D as well as advanced analysis packages.”
