Hitachi HI-RTE for Chelsea and Westminster

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London, has purchased a Hitachi Hi-Vision Preirus ultrasound system to complement an existing Hitachi EUB-7000 system for ano-rectal ultrasound.
The Preirus includes state-of-the-art real-time tissue elastography, providing a valuable diagnostic procedure in identifying fistulae, abscesses and third-degree tears as a result of childbirth, allowing combined assessment for accurate evaluation.
