Royal Preston continues to upgrade with Elevas

Hospital staff and Philips Healthcare personnel with the EasyDiagnost Eleva system are Theresa Gibson, Steve Oliver, Caroline Mee, Colin Murray, Natalie Parkin,  advanced practitioner Val Greenhalgh, specialist radiographer Hannah Garnett, advanced practitioner Lalita Solanki and imaging assistant Sheila Sharples.

Royal Preston Hospital is continuing a series of upgrades and installations with the purchase of a Philips MultiDiagnost Eleva R/F system and an EasyDiagnost Eleva system.

The MultiDiagnost Eleva is a universal x-ray system with remote controlled C-arm, designed to assist with diagnosis and interventions on the same equipment.  Equipped with a flat panel detector, it was selected for its image quality and ease-of-use.

Clinical manager Caroline Mee said: “We selected the Philips equipment due to its superior image quality and the ease-of-use of the Eleva interface.”
