At Spire Wellesley Hospital are Toshiba Medical Systems account executive CT/XR/MR and connectivity Colin Pellow, imaging manager David Fowler and radiographers Jo Hall and Simon Marriage.

Spire Wellesley Hospital, Southend-on-Sea, is the first hospital in the UK to have acquired a Toshiba Aquilion CXL CT scanner.  Through its turnkey building solution that included all the groundworks, Toshiba Medical Systems also provided the modular building housing the new system, through a partnership with Canute International Medical Services.

Spire Wellesley imaging manager David Fowler said: “We find the equipment very straightforward and user-friendly.  Our patients very quickly accepted the system and, based on our positive experiences with Toshiba equipment, we were happy to go for Toshiba again.

“We particularly like the excellent image quality and low dose features and hope to start a hospital cardiac CT service with the Aquilion in the near future.”
