Magnetom Flow.Elite MRI system simplifies installation with helium-independent technology
Siemens Healthineers has introduced the Magnetom Flow.Elite, a 1.5T MRI system featuring helium-independent technology for sustainable, cost-efficient imaging.
At its core is DryCool technology, requiring only 0.7l of liquid helium, minimising resource dependency and eliminating the need for a quench pipe, which simplifies installation and reduces infrastructure costs.
“Clinically, the platform delivers robust image quality across neuro, musculoskeletal, cardiac and oncology applications,” states Siemens Healthineers. “AI-powered tools, including Deep Resolve, accelerate acquisition for faster, clearer images without compromising diagnostic confidence. Energy-saving modes cut power consumption by up to 30-40 per cent compared with previous generations of the system.”
Operators can perform registration, positioning and scan initiation at the patient’s side, improving throughput while creating a calmer environment. Intelligent BioMatrix contour coils adapt to individual anatomy.
