RNOH offers a more calming experience with 3.0T MRI from Philips

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), Stanmore, has installed a Philips Ingenia Elition X 3.0T MRI scanner, which is enhancing the patient journey with personalised lighting and visual themes. The more welcoming environment is particularly helpful for paediatric patients and those who feel anxious about MRI. With Philips Ambient Experience, departments can offer immersive visual and in-room guidance elements that reduce stress and support cooperation.

Scanning superintendent radiographer Jennifer Gibson said: “The Ambient Experience has transformed how our patients feel during MRI.
