Thorough training brings Macclesfield radiology team up to speed following rapid DR installation
Faced with the dual pressures of a tight implementation timescale and stringent budgetary requirements, the radiology department at Macclesfield General Hospital chose the Samsung GC85 digital radiography system, supplied by MIS Healthcare. The department required a high performance solution that could be installed quickly without compromising diagnostic quality or financial sustainability. The GC85 offered a versatile ceiling-suspended system with robust construction and workflow efficiency, helping maintain patient throughput during a period of infrastructure renewal.
The success of the installation was driven by collaboration between the hospital’s clinical leadership team and MIS Healthcare. Extensive consultation ahead of the rollout ensured the system met both the department’s clinical demands and physical space constraints. The integration of the latest imaging software and hardware has future-proofed the department, while improved workflow, better use of available space and reduced manual handling have delivered immediate operational benefits.
MIS Healthcare worked closely with the radiographers at the hospital to build confidence in using the system’s advanced features.
