Affidea and Estuary View Private Medical Services join up to deliver MRI service to Whitstable community
Provider of community-based clinics, advanced diagnostics and specialist care services Affidea has officially launched its new MRI service in Whitstable, delivered in partnership with Estuary View Private Medical Services. It represents a significant investment in diagnostic capacity for the local community and forms part of Affidea’s continued strategic expansion across the UK.
The service is designed to improve accessibility, reduce waiting times and deliver a seamless patient experience through advanced imaging technology and clinically-led care. It will support a broad range of clinical pathways including musculoskeletal, neurological, gastric, cardiac, orthopaedic and general diagnostic imaging.
Designed around speed, convenience and digital innovation, the service offers same-day scan appointments where available, with diagnostic reports delivered within 48 hours to support faster clinical decision making and improved patient outcomes.
Patients will also benefit from Affidea Connect, a secure digital patient platform that enables them to access appointment information and imaging results online. Referring clinicians will have access to an advanced e-referral system, streamlining the referral process and enabling faster, more efficient access to diagnostic services.
