HSL supports Hexarad with an integrated diagnostic display solution

As Hexarad expanded its NHS radiology services, it needed a diagnostic display solution that could support a growing network of remote clinicians while maintaining compliance with NHS standards and reducing the need for on-site engineering support.
Working in partnership with Hexarad, Hospital Services Limited (HSL) delivered a complete Barco diagnostic display solution, combining high performance medical displays with the Barco QAWeb Enterprise platform. The solution provides centralised workstation management, automated calibration, proactive fault monitoring and compliance reporting, enabling Hexarad to remotely manage its diagnostic display estate efficiently. By automating QA and compliance checks, the platform helps reduce administrative workload.
Hexarad associate director of clinical systems Corey Frazer said: “I don’t worry about calibration or QA anymore. It’s taken care of, and that peace of mind lets me focus on what actually moves the needle, like turnaround time.
“Barco QAWeb saves us over an hour on every workstation simply by automating compliance checks. It runs entirely in the background, requiring no input from either our reporting clinicians or our engineering team. Instead of manually verifying each workstation, we can quickly review the results through the QAWeb portal and move on, giving our team more time to focus on supporting clinicians and delivering an efficient service.”
