MSK centre chooses EOS for world-class service

News

Following the European Scanning Centres order, EOS Imaging ceo Marie Meynadier and ESC medical director Dr Paul Jenkins celebrate on the steps of the Harley Street centre.

European Scanning Centre in Harley Street has installed an EOS Imaging Systems upright linear CT scanner.  It will become part of a centre for musculoskeletal imaging offering a bespoke solution for all orthopaedic conditions scheduled to open later this year.

The Centre for Advanced Musculoskeletal Imaging is expected to be the only diagnostic MSK imaging service of its kind in the world and will accommodate four cutting-edge imaging modalities including EOS and two SterEOS 3D workstations, Paramed Open MR, Aquilion One CT scanner and a Toshiba Aplio 500 ultrasound scanner.

Dr Paul Jenkins said: “The EOS is a key component of the services we will provide.  Its ability to produce accurate 3D views and measurements of the entire skeleton at extremely low radiation dose will be part of a unique service that is designed to create a world-class diagnostic imaging service specifically targeting MSK problems.”
